Timetables

Please  refer to our What's on Next page to see when we are running.  These timetables apply on Running Days only.  

Yellow (Standard) Timetable

The Yellow Timetable applies when one passenger train is in operation.  It will be made up of carriages hauled by a Steam or Diesel locomotive.  The locomotive will change ends at Hayes Knoll and Swindon Mouldon Hill (Previously known as Taw Valley Halt) .  Our Day Rover Tickets will usually be in operation on these days.  This means you can catch any train and stay on board for as long as you like!   The timetable will also apply to some special events such as at Easter.

The last full round trip along the full length of the line is the 15.06 departure from Blunsdon.  The last train from Blunsdon to Swindon Mouldon Hill is at 15.40.

Green (Railbus or DMU) Timetable

The Green Timetable applies when the Railbus or DMU is in operation.  Our Day Rover Tickets will usually be in operation on these days.  This means you can catch any departure and stay on board for as long as you like!

The last full round trip along the full length of the line is the 15.54 departure from Blunsdon.  The last train from Blunsdon to Swindon Mouldon Hill (Previously known as Taw Valley Halt) is at 16.15.

(1)  Revised or extended timetables will apply on Gala Days. Call 01793 771615 before the event for information or consult our website.
(2) These timetables do not apply to Santa Special services, Day out with Thomas.  Please consult the special event details to be sure which timetable is in operation and whether Day Rover Tickets apply.
(3) While every effort will be made to comply with the timetable, the Railway cannot guarantee train times or particular motive power or, in exceptional circumstances, services may have to be suspended.
