With the extension to Taw Valley completed in 2012, the Swindon & Cricklade Railway's tracklaying team is now engaged on an extension to Cricklade.
The first stage includes making good the trackbed from South Meadow Lane to the site of Farfield Lane Bridge, where rebuilding the now-demolished bridge will be the second major stage of the project.

Clearing the ground at the former site of Farfield Lane Bridge. Cricklade's church tower looks almost close enough to touch!

Moving concrete sleepers out of storage at South Meadow Lane to where they will be used on the extension.

These short track panels will be used to lay a new Permanent Way siding at South Meadow Lane to serve the extension work.
